Ancient Hellenic Fury
When Chaos stirred awake, there was nothing to greet it--no light, no sound and no shape...Only the endless stretch of itself. It grew restless, not with loneliness...but with possibilities.
"Let there be something...that is not me."
And so, one of its teeth fell out--a seed, one that had been planted into the void. It broke and Seismos rose from it. But it could not see in this void.
So, Chaos-blinked. And from that blink, came Imera --the day, to light up this quiet void.
And so, Seismos went to work, carving the planet--the hills, the mountains, the valleys, the caves...
But as the day continued to burn without an end...Seismos being ever-working, ever-seeing...grew restless...Tired, then strained. Then irritated...The world trembled and Chaos watched patiently.
From the long, unmoving shadows of Chaos' wings something softer emerged. Nychta, the night--the darkness, the rest. Spreading out gently, cooling the endless blaze of Imera, they helped calm Seismos after hard work. Allowing them to rest. To sleep.
But the two sisters argued--when should the light appear and when should the darkness emerge?
"I bring life. Without me, nothing grows."
The blazing light pushed.
"And without me, nothing survives."
The soft darkness answered.Neither yielding. Neither wrong. Seismos cracked beneath them. Mountains split. Valleys deepened.
As the dark and light continued to collide with each other--Chaos answered. The sky fractured between the sisters, and the fracture turned into a being. Fora.
"Enough."
Her voice settled, like a law.
“You are not meant to conquer one another… but to follow.”
With a commanding tone, she guided the two clashing sisters. And so, the first rhythm of time was born.
Day gave to night and night yielded to day. Not as enemies, but as a cycle.
Seismos steadied. The fractures softened and the world held.
